Air-Fryer Gingered Honey Salmon with Blood Orange Olive Oil

A quick, easy, and healthy dinner. If you don't have an air fryer the salmon can also be cooked on a gas or charcoal grill. Prep time is 10-minutes before you let the salmon marinate for at least 30 minutes, and cook time is only 15 minutes. Serve this dish with salad or grilled vegetables such as asparagus.

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 1/3 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp Primo Blood Orange Olive Oil
  • 1 green onion chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 salmon fillet 1-1/2 pounds and 3/4 inch thick

Instructions
 

  • For marinade, mix the first 7 ingredients.
  • In a shallow bowl, combine salmon and 2/3 cup marinade
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, turning occasionally. If you have the time, marinate overnight. Reserve remaining marinade for basting.
  • Preheat air fryer to 325°.
  • Place fillet on greased tray in air-fryer basket; discard remaining marinade.
  • Cook until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 15-18 minutes, basting with reserved marinade during the last 5 minutes.
