
Pasta Aglio e Olio
A simple and delicious pasta dish for all your loved ones.
Ingredients
- 1/4 head separated and peeled garlic
- 1/2 cup finely-chopped parsley
- 1/2 cup Primo's Garlic Olive Oil
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 lb linguine
- 1/2 lemon
- Seasonello Sardegna (Sardinia) Sea Salt to taste
- pepper to taste
Instructions
- Salt a pot of water, and bring to a boil. Cook pasta until slightly underdone.
- As pasta cooks, slice the garlic cloves thinly, and set aside.
- Heat Primo's Garlic Olive Oil in a large pan over medium until nearly shimmering.
- Add sliced garlic and continue to stir until softened with golden edges. and turning golden on the edges.
- Add red pepper flakes and lower heat to medium-low.
- Add the pasta, drained, with 1/4 cup reserved pasta water. Squeeze lemon juice on top, and mix into the pasta with parsley. If sauce is too watery, continue to cook for 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, serve, and enjoy!
