Two 375ml Primo Olive Oils
We opened Primo Olive Oils because we believe that people with discerning tastes in the Kentuckiana region were ready for a tasting room presenting the highest quality extra virgin olive oils and balsamic vinegars from around the world.
And we were right. We continue to bring you the best olive oils the world has to offer. You’ll find some of them in your spring gift box!
There are so many uses for olive oil. Here are just a few of our favorite uses:
- Use 3 parts oil to 1 part balsamic for salad dressings.
- Create marinades for meat, fish & poultry.
- Drizzle your olive oil on pasta, pizza & veggies.
- Pour it into a small dish & add a splash of balsamic for bread dipping.
- Brush Garlic EVOO on a loaf of French bread and lightly toast then sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
- Brush onto meats before grilling or broiling to seal in flavor.
- Add to eggs & drizzle over toast.
- Use olive oil instead of butter or margarine for baking & on bread, potatoes & popcorn, to reduce the amount of saturated fat in your diet.
Pappardelle’s Supreme Orzo
Pappardelle’s is a small batch, artisanal pasta brand we love to carry. Founded by David Bowen and Bill Curtis in Denver on May 14, 1984, with a vision of exquisite, fresh pasta in an array of flavors never before experienced by Americans. At that time, pasta in the United States was generally limited to one basic flavor: plain.
Orzo is pasta that is shaped like a large grain of rice. It’s typically made from semolina flour made from durum wheat but it can also be made with whole grain.
Concentrated and intense is what this Supreme orzo is all about! If you like succulent, deep flavors, this is the pasta for you. This pasta was originally requested from Pappardelle’s by a local Denver chef. He definitely knew what he was doing as this pasta quickly became a fan favorite.
Savannah Bee Company Honey 
Honey bees are the passion of Savannah Bee Company. They are dedicated to educating everyone about the importance bees play as pollinators of our food. Bees are an integral part of our ecosystem and are facing many threats in our evolving world. Bees need all the help we can give them.
Their honey is exceptional and perfect for beautiful spring days.
Well’s Made Co. Roasted Pumpkin Seed Butter
We love this local business. Wells Made Co got its start because of a little girl named “Koa”. Koa was born highly allergic to a variety of foods such as soy, nuts, and milk. Her mother asked Andrea Wells for help preparing meals because she felt overwhelmed by what her child couldn’t eat. Wells jumped at the chance and began researching nut-free seeds and decided to create simple recipes to help the Koa’s of the world.
Wells Made uses high quality, all-natural, and organic ingredients. They’re the premiere local seed and nut butter in Louisville.
The Roasted Pumpkin Seed butter is made with roasted pumpkin seeds, dates, cinnamon, and vanilla. It’s so delicious!
Small Dipping Bowl 
The Tunisian artisan studio Dishes & Deco was founded in 2009. The studio grew out of a love of Mediterranean dishes and the desire to bring them to European and American markets. The result is a variety of colorful mandala-like patterns and bold stripes.
Inside the 8,000 square foot studio, over a dozen artisans hand paint each line, dot, and stroke of glaze onto the white clay dishes.
Dishes and Deco is committed to the well-being of the artisans. The studio offers permanent contracts, a scholarship for training, and provides free transportation to and from the studio. This benefits the artisans, their children, and the community as a whole.
The bowl itself is 4.25″ W x 1.25″H, earthenware, hand-painted in Tunisia, and both microwave and dishwasher safe. Use it to mix together your favorite olive oil and balsamic combination for dipping!
