Hummus
A recipe for homemade hummus that'll have you making more in no time.

- 1/2 cup tahiniĀ (roasted, not raw)
- 1/2 cup Primo's Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
- 2 cloves garlic, mashed and chopped
- 1 15-oz can chickpeas drained
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tsp Seasonello Sardegna (Sardinia) Sea Salt
Optional garnishes
- a sprinkle of paprika
- a swirl of Primo's Tuscan Herb Olive Oil
- toasted pine nuts
- chopped parsley
Add tahini and Primo's Tuscan Herb Olive Oil in a food processor or blender and mix until smooth.
Add the garlic, chickpeas*, lemon juice, water, and salt. Process/blend until smooth.
Add to a serving bowl, drizzle some of Primo's Tuscan Herb Olive Oil on the top and sprinkle with garnishes if you choose. Enjoy!
* To make an extra creamy hummus rinse your chickpeas in warm water and slip them out of their skins before adding them to the blender.
