Maple Balsamic Glazed Salmon

Maple Balsamic Glazed Salmon is a delightful twist on traditional grilled salmon, combining the rich, smoky flavor of the grill with the sweet and tangy notes of Primo’s Maple Balsamic Vinegar. This dish offers a perfect balance of savory, sweet, and smoky flavors that make it a standout choice for any meal.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 pcs salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1/2 cup Primo Maple Balsamic Vinegar
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 clover garlic minced
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh chopped herbs (such as parsley or dill) for garnish

Instructions

  • Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, whisk together Primo Maple Balsamic Vinegar, olive oil, soy sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Marinate the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, making sure each fillet is coated. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours, to let the flavors meld.
  • Preheat the Grill: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400-450°F).
  • Grill the Salmon: Remove the salmon fillets from the marinade, reserving the marinade for later use. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill. Grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, depending on the thickness of the fillets, or until the salmon is cooked through and easily flakes with a fork. Brush the reserved marinade onto the salmon during grilling to create a glaze.
  • Serve: Remove the salmon from the grill and transfer to a serving platter. Garnish with fresh chopped herbs, if desired. Serve immediately, and enjoy the smoky-sweet flavors of Maple Balsamic Glazed Salmon.

Special Tips and Variations:

  • Oven-Baked Option: If you prefer, you can bake the salmon in the oven at 400°F for about 12-15 minutes, brushing with the marinade halfway through cooking.
  • Side Dish Ideas: Serve the Maple Balsamic Glazed Salmon with roasted vegetables, wild rice, or a fresh green salad dressed with a light vinaigrette.
